1.NATIONAL YOUTH CIVICS SUMMIT: THE NATIONAL YOUTH CIVICS SUMMIT (NYCS), A WEEK-LONG PROGRAM IN WASHINGTON, D.C. THAT ENHANCES THE CIVIC KNOWLEDGE of HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY THROUGH FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCES IN GOVERNMENT, HISTORY, and CITIZENSHIP. PARTICIPANTS ENGAGE WITH SENIOR MILITARY and PUBLIC LEADERS, PARTICIPATE IN SIMULATIONS, and VISIT SITES SUCH AS THE U.S. CAPITOL, SUPREME COURT, PENTAGON, STATE DEPARTMENT, and ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY. THE NYCS is OFFERED AT NO COST to PARTICIPANTS. ALL STUDENT EXPENSES, INCLUDING TRAVEL, LODGING, MEALS, and PROGRAMMING, ARE COVERED to ENSURE ACCESS REGARDLESS of FINANCIAL SITUATION. BUILDING ON THE SUCCESS of THE 2024 and 2025 SUMMITS, THE 2026 NYCS WILL HOST 20 STUDENTS FROM JULY 12-18, 2026.
