VETERANS REHOMING HELP INC
EIN 92-1925253 · Military & Veterans Organizations (W30)
What they do
We Wrote Checks to Several Utilities to Prevent Utility Shutoffs for Indigent Veterans In Newly Granted Section 8 Vouchers. We Wrote A Check to A Repair Man for A Donated Wheelchair for A Recent Amputee. We Wrote A Check to A Leasing Agent So A Recently Placed Veteran Could Move Into An Apartment. These Generally Took Place As A Result of Requests to Us By VA Social Workers Working With HUD/VASH. We Also Cooperate With A Program of The San Anselmo Elks Lodge Which Receives Donated Furniture and Other Items to Be Given to Previously Homeless Veterans, Most of Whom Are Referred to Us By VA Social Workers Working As Part of The HUD/VASH Program, Which Provides Section 8 Vouchers to Homeless Veterans. As The Section 8 Vouchers Do Not Include Furniture, This Program Provides Those Items.
Should I give to this charity?
Basic public information is available, but it is not enough to judge how well donations are used. Ask the charity for a current spending breakdown and results.
Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
