IN 2025, EQUI-CENTERED CONTINUED to PROVIDE TRANSFORMATIVE EQUINE-ASSISTED SERVICES to SOME of THE MOST VULNERABLE and UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS, INCLUDING SURVIVORS of SEX TRAFFICKING, VETERANS, PROGRAM STAFF, and INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY ICE-RELATED CIRCUMSTANCES. THROUGH A TRAUMA- INFORMED and EXPERIENTIAL APPROACH, WE CREATED A SAFE and RESTORATIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE PARTICIPANTS COULD BEGIN to REBUILD TRUST, EMOTIONAL REGULATION, and PERSONAL RESILIANCE. OVER THE COURSE of THE YEAR, WE EXPANDED ACCESS to OUR EQUINE FACILIATED PROGRAMS, INCREASING THE NUMBER of TEENS RECOVERING FROM SEX TRAFFICKING WHO RECEIVED CONSISTENT, SUPPORTIVE CARE. THESE SESSIONS OFFERED A UNIQUE PATHWAY to HEALING, HELPING PARTICIPANTS PROCESS TRAUMA, DEVELOP CONFIDENCE, and RECONNECT WITH A SENSE of SELF-WORTH. WE ALSO DEEPENED OUR WORK WITH VETERANS, MANY of WHOM FACE CHALLENGES RELATED to PTSD, ANXIETY, and REINTEGRATION.
