Taylor Hicks Elementary Has ~400 Children K Thru 4th, With About 50 Support Staff. School Admin Grants and Teacher Appreciation: We Were Able to Give Back to The School Administration and Teacher Grants In Excess of $10k Last Year. This Money Helped Grades K Thru 4th With Much Needed Supplies As Well As The Administration With Needed Supplies. Handicap Playground Equipment: We Have Installed Playground Equipment That Caters to Physically Challenged Children In Order So They Can Play With Their Peers On The Playground (Cost for Install Was $37k). Student/Family/Community Support: We Were Able to Bring Out Students, Teachers and Community Together In A Series of Events Designed to Increase Communication and Support From Our Families. Events Included Charity Events, Christmas, Halloween and Spring Events As Well As Get Togethers Throughout The Year.
