At Flying Pig Farm Our Mission is to Cultivate Resilient Relationships With Food and Natural Systems Through Land-based Learning. We Primarily Focus On Three Areas: Youth Development, Food Access and Education, and Land Restoration and Stewardship. We Offer Farm-to-school Programming On A Historic 3 Acre Property In Manitou for K-12 School Groups Including STEM Integrated Core Content, Social Emotional Learning Groups, Programming for Youth With Disabilities, Internships and Apprenticeships for High School and College Age Youth, and Workshops for Learners of All Ages. Our Work and Capacity Have Grown Significantly Since Our Founding In 2014, and We Now Offer A Wide Range of Programs, Reaching A Record 1,739 Community Members In 2024, Including 1,278 Youth, With Over 5,500 Total Farm Visits. Weve Consistently Observed That Our Students and Gardeners Are Enthusiastic About Healthy, Fresh Foods and Forays Into Culinary Arts and Want More Opportunities to Experience These. Impact Surveys D
