EIN 83-2374509 · Dance (A62)

What they do

73 Dance Project Works to Increase Accessibility to Concert Dance In Underserved Communities Through Performance, Arts Education, and Community Engagement. We Recognize That Dance Experiences Offer Unique Emotional and Psychological Benefits That Many Disadvantaged Communities Are Largely Excluded From. Our Focus is On Offering Local and Affordable Concerts to Make Positive Arts Engagement More Accessible to All. We Hope That These Efforts Will Inspire Future Dance Organizations to Look Beyond Outreach Programs and Begin to View Marginalized Communities As Primary Audiences for Their Work. We Offer Charitable Dance/arts Education and Services.

Of every $100 spent, about $33.70 was reported for mission work. Use the spending picture below and ask what results that work produced.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Pay context: The highest compensation shown in this filing is $14,448 for TYLER THOMPSON (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR). Compare pay with organizations of similar size and complexity.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
