What they do

CECNS TAX EXEMPT PURPOSES ARE IMPROVING EFFICACY and QUALITY of HEALTHCARE PROVIDED to UNDERSERVED and RURAL POPULATIONS, and INCREASING and ENABLING ACCESS to MEDICAL SPECIALISTS to THOSE POPULATIONS. CECN USES THE ECONSULT PLATFORM WHICH is AN ELECTRONIC WEB-BASED, HIPPA COMPLIANT COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM for CLINICAL CONSULTATIONS. THE ECONSULT ACTIVITY DIRECTLY FURTHERS THESE PURPOSES BY PROVIDING A PLATFORM BY WHICH MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED INDIVIDUALS IN NEED of SPECIALTY HEALTHCARE OBTAIN ACCESS to THE NEEDED SPECIALTY HEALTHCARE DIRECTLY THROUGH THEIR PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS. IN MANY CASES, DUE to FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS, THE LACK of INSURANCE, GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS or THE ABSENCE of TRANSPORTATION, MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED PATIENTS DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to NEEDED SPECIALTY CARE PROVIDERS.

Look at where the money went

Of every $100 spent, about $50.80 was reported for mission work. Use the spending picture below and ask what results that work produced.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Has the pattern changed?

Colored bars = expense mix: how each year’s expenses were divided. Total expenses vs. revenue shows whether the charity spent less or more than it received. The current filing is first.
