Members of The Baxters Pond Foundation Have Volunteered to Serve As Stewards and Advocates for The Pond and Park - The Foundation Relies On Donations From The Community to Enable These Efforts. The Foundations Successful Advocacy With Nassau County Continues to Result In The Dredging of The Catchment Basin Leading Into The Pond, Removing Built-up Sedimentation and Debris That Flows From The Upper Roadways Into The Creek and Into The Catchment Basin.
