Receiving A Cancer Diagnosis Can Be An Incredibly Stressful Experience, Often Leaving Patients Unprepared for The Lengthy Hours of Chemotherapy. to Help Ease This Journey, Venecias Foundation Has Developed Care Bags, Which Are Filled With Essential Items to Provide Comfort During Treatment. These Care Bags Were Inspired By Venecias Personal Experience, and Over The Years, Additional Items Have Been Included Based On Feedback From Other Cancer Patients. Our Care Bags Include A Range of Everyday Items to Make The Chemotherapy Treatments More Bearable, Including A Soft Blanket, Lotion, Eye Drops, Travel Pillow, Port Pillow, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Dental Floss, Journal/pen, Puzzle Book, Sugar Free Candy, Facial Tissue, Face Mask, Hand Sanitizer, Hand Wipes, Nonslip Socks, Starbuck Gift Card and Gas Gift Card. We Collaborate Closely With Local Cancer Treatment Centers In Northeast Alabama to Distribute Our Care Bags to Newly Diagnosed Patients, Ensuring They Begin Their Fight Against Cance
