SHOWING SUPPORT for THE COMMUNITY, GPAA ALSO ORGANIZES EXHIBITIONS SUCH AS REMEMBERING THE LONG VIETNAM WAR to MARK THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY of THE END of CONFLICT. BECAUSE of THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING THE WAR VERY FEW ARTIFACTS WERE AVAILABLE, SO GPAA REACHED OUT to THE VETERANS IN THE COMMUNITY for THEIR HELP. THE RESULTING EXHIBITION WAS THERAPEUTIC for THE VETERANS and INSTRUCTIVE to THE HISTORY CLASSES THAT VISITED. DURING THE YEAR, THE ASSOCIATION ALSO ORGANIZED EXHIBITIONS to SUPPORT THE ART THERAPY PROGRAM AT THE JOHN D. DINGELL VA MEDICAL CENTER, AAUW, FOCUS (A CAMERA CLUB AFFILIATED WITH THE SCARAB CLUB), THE GROSSE POINTE GARDEN CENTER and THE L
