THEY STRIVE to ENHANCE THE CULTURAL LIFE IN THE AREA BY OFFERING AFFORDABLE LIVE THEATER THAT FEATURES ARTISITS FROM THE COMMUNITY and PROVIDING AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE for YOUNG and OLD to LEARN ALL ASPECTS of THEATER ARTS and PRODUCTION THROUGH VOLENTEER PARTICIPATION. DURING THE FALL PRODUCTION, MONEY is RAISED for THE GREATER PITSSBURGH COMMUNITY FOOD BANK, AS A WAY of GIVING BACK to THE COMMUNITY. STAGE 62 is PROUD of THEIR OUTREACH to YOUTH. MANY of THEIR BOARD MEMBERS HOLD EDUCATION RELATED POSITIONS THAT PROVIDE REGULAR CONTACT WITH STUDENTS FROM GRADE SCHOOL to HIGH SCHOOL IN MANY NEAR BY SCHOOL DISTRICTS.THEIR VOLUNTEER KIDS PARTICIPATE BOTH ON and BACK STAGE AS A V
